Feed Me- A slenderman poem
_________________Ⓧ____________________
Something sour, something sweet
Bring me something I can eat.
Feed me by the evening hour
Or your children, I’ll devour.
Little girls and little boys
I’ll eat them both, with wide grin so coy.
I’ll sing my song and lead them stray
To the woods where I’ll then prey
Upon their flesh, so soft and weak.
All night long they’ll scream and scream.
Hungry, hungry! Always hungry.
Feed me, feed me! Feed me quickly.
Feed me now!
Or late at night you’ll hear me howl.
I’ll follow you, wherever you go.
You think you saw me but you’ll never know.

And finally, hands rolled into tight spools of cable
Thumbs pressed into your long finger
As if fumbling your noose
By the fistful & handing it
Out to snow around the window—
Remind me to remind you sometime,
When the stifling rub
Of arrows marked
In green ink & pencil quiet the page
To flay the skin from my back.
Alternatively we might go for a drink.
I’d embarrass myself
With talk of ex girlfriends
& how the slenderman
Might give our children nightmares.
You’d say nothing and our full-stops ’d be

The only crack at building fire for miles

It started as any other dreary day. I was walking through the dusty halls whene I overheard Stephano arguing with someone. As I continued down the hall I heard a thump, like someone was thrown to the ground.
"W-what are you doing!?" I heard Gonzales shout. Curiosity getting the better of me I approached the half closed door and peeked in. "No! N-no stop!" Gonzales was on his back, blood dripping from his arm as Stephano hovered over him. "bother please-" his begging was cut off with a sickening slurch as Stephano thrust his sword strait though the bronze statue's head.
I gasped, immediately slapping my brass hands over my mouth as Stephano
Insane?
Hallucinations and voices.
I think I’m seeing
Something now.
Look! There it is.
What?
You can’t see it?
No, I swear
I’m not insane.
It’s right there!
A little girl,
Black hair,
Victorian dress.
She’s looking at us,
From across the hall.
She’s mumbling something.
As she walks closer.
Where is she going?
I think she’s coming,
Towards us.
Wait!
Where did you go?
Please don’t leave!
Oh no,
The little girl.
She has a knife.
Please come back!
I need your help!
Where did you go?
You just disappeared.
The girl,
I can hear her now.
She’s mumbling about
Death
She’s lifting the knife.
Stuck in silence,
My only consolation in the darkness...
Memories die,
I will soon be gone...
Maybe one day,
Everything will come back...
Maybe one day,
I would be me again...
All I know is:
I feel so cold...

The corpse will rise as the sun will set And we will never once forget The moments of fear, the wounds, and the tears That came from the absence and missing of years And we will never once forget The moment our eyes had ever met. The howls and cries During the sunrise Will burn themselves into my eyes Memories will take hold of me And I will fail when they succeed ...
